|A-League expansion bidders Western Melbourne linked to Celtic star

According to the Scottish Daily Mail, they are preparing to offer Brown a contract if their A-League application is accepted and they begin playing next year. Brown, 33, is the former captain of the Scottish national team and currently teammates with Socceroos pair Tom Rogic and Daniel Arzani at Parkhead.
The defensive midfielder has played for the Hoops since 2007, racking up more than 300 first-team appearances during that time. Celtic are said to be keen on extending Brown's contract but the prospect of a late-career swansong - particularly at an ambitious new A-League franchise - could tempt him.
The Western Melbourne Group are planning to fund and build a 15,000-seat football-specific stadium in Tarneit, sbobet24 an hour's drive west of the Melbourne CBD, if their expansion bid is approved.
