It's a long shot, maxbet but West Bromwich Albion can still play Premier League football next season.

West Bromwich Albion have won three and drawn two of their last five Premier League games, and are remarkably still with a chance (albeit a very slim one) of safety, after moving up to 19th in the table on Saturday, two points adrift of 17th-placed Southampton.

Swansea's 1-0 loss to Bournemouth and West Brom's unbelievable 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Hawthorns sparked a glimmer of hope within the Baggies' camp.

And while Jake Livermore's 90th-minute winner will go down in West Brom folklore should the club pull off one of the greatest relegation comebacks of all time, 19-year-old Everton midfielder Tom Davies could be the hero of this unlikeliest of escapes.

Following Nathan Redmond's 56th-minute opener, Southampton were set to leave Goodison Park with all three points a few hours after the Baggies' win over Spurs.

Those valuable points would have hugely boosted the Saints' survival chances, and ultimately maxbet condemned West Brom to relegation.

However, Davies' 96th-minute equalizer means the Baggies are still very much in the mix for survival, and with Southampton and Swansea City set to play each other on Tuesday, a draw - and only a draw between both sides - will give Darren Moore's side a massive boost heading into the last game of the campaign next Sunday.

A win at Selhurst Park at the expense of already-safe Crystal Palace could be enough for West Brom to beat the drop, provided Swansea lose to relegated Stoke City or Southampton to Manchester City (if both of them had play out a draw on Tuesday).

The thought of the Hawthorns hosting Premier League football next season still is far-fetched, but bearing in mind the West Brom's recent run, can't be ruled out. maxbet
